Who are the people behind Sleight Farm, and how did they get to be one of the top new home builders in Dutchess County and the Hudson Valley?

LMD Companies was founded by Luke Regier, Michael Meyers, and Dave Stenger, three renowned Hudson Valley home builders who joined forces in 2011. Luke, Michael, and Dave collectively share more than 75 years of construction and development experience, along with a diverse portfolio of completed work, They believe their success, and the reason they’re on the forefront of home builders in Dutchess County, is their commitment to superior craftsmanship, construction execution, and — most importantly — the highest possible level of open, day-to-day homebuyer communications. Luke R. Regier, AIA

Luke has worked in design and construction management for more than 25 years. Luke spent his early career as an architect and construction manager in commercial construction in New York City. For the last twenty years, his work has been focused in the Hudson Valley where he and Michael Meyers have built more than 700 single and multi-family homes, and completed a number of complex commercial and institutional projects.
Luke has been a New York State licensed Architect since 1983, and a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) since 1999. He is a past President and prior member of the Board of Directors of the Builders Association of the Hudson Valley. Luke earned his degree in Architecture from Syracuse University (1989), and a degree in Land Surveying and Forestry from Paul Smith’s College (1983).
Michael G. Meyers

Michael started his professional career working in Manhattan on commercial, institutional, and multi-family residential projects. For the last twenty years, he has been developing and building commercial and residential projects in the lower Hudson Valley. He founded his own company in 1995, and grew it into one of the largest residential developers and builders in the area. Michael and his partner Luke Regier sold the residential portion of their business to Lennar Corporation in 2005. At Lennar, Michael held several positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in his position as President of Lennar’s Northeast Urban Division. In this capacity, he was responsible for mid-rise multi-family developments in Weehawken, NJ and Boston, MA.
Michael is a past President and prior member of the Board of Directors for the Builders Association of the Hudson Valley; a prior member of the Board of Directors of the Dutchess County Economic Development Corporation; a former member of the Board of Directors of the St. Simeon Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that provides housing to low income seniors in Poughkeepsie, NY; and a prior member of the Board of Directors or the Dutchess Day School in Millbrook, NY. Michael received his Bachelors of Architecture degree from Syracuse University (1989).
David Stenger

Dave is a second generation home builder who has been building in Dutchess County and the Hudson Valley since the founding of his first company, Creekview Homes, in 1983. He has developed and built more than 1,000 single and multi-family homes in Dutchess and Orange Counties. Additionally, Dave has developed and built numerous commercial properties. His extensive knowledge of construction and land development is reflected in his commitment to building quality affordable homes and luxury communities.
Dave is a twice past President of the Builders Association of the Hudson Valley, as well as a Life Director of the Board of Directors for the Builders Association of the Hudson Valley. He has also served on his local Planning Board in Fishkill, NY.
